Pegase Application : Itajai River (Brasil)
Year of design: | 2006 |
Description: | After scientifical contacts between Aquapole (formerly CEME) and Pr. Adilson Pinheiro, from the University of Blumenau, a test application of Pegase has been realised in 2006 on the watershed of the Itajaà River, which represents a large drinkable water reserve for industry and agriculture.
The databases have been essentially created by Pr. Pinheiro, then checked and fixed by Aquapole engineers. The database counted 337 rivers (5232 km) in a watershed of 14930 km².
